2. Scope

This policy covers personal information we collect via this website. If you sign up for our beta product Harvy, a separate set of terms and data provisions applies — see the Harvy Self-Serve Beta Terms, which form the binding agreement between Meridian and the business you represent once accepted.

3. What we collect and why

3.1 Contact form enquiries

When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send us. We use this information solely to read and respond to your enquiry.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — specifically, responding to enquiries you have voluntarily sent us.

3.2 Server and security logs

Our web server records routine request metadata (IP address, user-agent string, URL requested, timestamp, HTTP status code) for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are retained for up to 30 days and are not used to build behavioural profiles.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — keeping our service secure and available.

3.3 Cookies and tracking

This website does not set any first-party cookies, and does not use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking of any kind. Your visit is not recorded beyond the server logs described in 3.2.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or license your personal information to any third party. The only parties who may process your information on our behalf are:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — our content-delivery and edge-security provider. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata at the edge to deliver the site and protect against attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Our email infrastructure — contact-form messages are delivered to our monitored mailbox via our own mail server under the meridianlogic.uk domain.

We may disclose information where legally required (court order, law-enforcement request, regulatory obligation) — in which case we will tell you first where we are lawfully able to do so.

5. International transfers

Personal information collected through this website is stored and processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Our CDN provider (Cloudflare) operates globally; personal information transiting Cloudflare is subject to appropriate safeguards under the UK GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. How long we keep information

  • Contact-form enquiries: kept in our email system for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted when no longer required.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days, then overwritten.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you (right of access);
  • ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate (right to rectification);
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold (right to erasure);
  • ask us to restrict how we process your information (right to restriction);
  • ask us to provide a copy of your information in a structured format (right to data portability);
  • object to our processing where we rely on legitimate interests (right to object).

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month. There is no fee unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We'd appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. Historical versions are available on request.
